Tip of the century

having read many many many many blogs over the past few days i've decided that the single most important tip you should take with you on your wedding day is....

take time for each other, whether that be an extra long car journey to your venue or a sneaky half hour in a quiet room . . .

Tip of the week

Sorry for taking so long with this

Always check with hotel manager or your banqueting manager at your venue about their decor policies. Some venues do not allow certain confetti or anything hung on the walls/ceiling. Your venue decorator should know the policy at your chosen venue.Always ask before you have your heart set on anything.

Advice & comments welcome

Tip of the week

Hi ladies & gents

After a relaxing week in the sun I'm back-all guns blazing with the wedding planning tips of the week :

Besides the “wow” factor of seeing the bride walk down the aisle in her gorgeous gown, couples want their guests to do a double-take at the reception as well. That’s why it’s important to really take your wedding theme and ramp it up a notch with top quality wedding table decorations.

Hope this helped

Tip of the week

Use photo frames as placecard holders at your wedding, these will look beautiful but they can double up as gifts for your guests after the big day.

Why not use something like this:

Hope this helped ease the planning woes

Tip of the week

Another tip of the week to ease your planning woes:

The main thing at a wedding that should be high quality is the linen, this will convey the image of the wedding to your guests, whether that means a splash of colour, or just a soft / bold texture.
Good quality linen will reduce the need for expensive/elaborate centrepieces or favours-why not ask us today about our speciaility linens for your wedding!

Did this help?

Seating Chart

During my many hours of trawling through the web I come across some really very simple but sensible wedding/event ideas.

Like this one:
A large seating chart with names arranged alphabetically & the number of the table they are sitting at. Ingenius, saves printing hundreds of tiny place name cards & will save the big crowd around the table plan.

I love it
